Change and Decay in All Around I See

Life is a surprising thing.

In the past couple months (give or take a bit), my boss retired, and two of my favorite people both announced they are moving out of state. Both are taking new and favorable academic opportunities that their current employer can not (or is not willing to) meet.

What amazes me is how sudden this change has been. (Or possibly, how sudden this change feels to me.)

I don't have time to write much today, but I will be returning to this theme very soon.
